The State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom is a multi-industry holding company that comprises assets in power engineering, machine building, and construction.  Its strategy is to develop low-carbon generation, including wind power.  ROSATOM is the national leader in power generation (accounting for about 20% of the country's total output) and ranks first globally in terms of the size of its portfolio of orders for the construction of nuclear power plants: 34 power units in 11 countries are at different stages of implementation. ROSATOM includes over 350 enterprises and organizations employing a total of more than 290,000 people.

The ROSATOM business strategy is guided by the international sustainable development agenda. ROSATOM makes a significant contribution to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals as a low-carbon electricity company, developing nuclear, hydrogen and wind energy. Annually, Russian-designed nuclear power plants prevent more than 210 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions, which is the main cause of climate change.

Uralkali PJSC is a leading global producer and exporter of potash, which is an essential element for the growth and development of all living organisms and which does not have any natural or artificial substitutes. The company has an effective value chain, which covers the whole scope of operations, from the mining of potash ore to the supply of finished products to customers across the world.

The production assets of the company are located in the Perm Region of Russia, at the Verkhnekamskoye deposit of potassium and magnesium salts, the world’s second-largest deposit in terms of ore reserves.

Uralkali PJSC, together with Uralchem JSC and TOAZ PJSC, is part of Uralchem Group – a leading producer of mineral fertilisers in Russia.

In total, Uralkali PJSC has 21,000 employees.

The company also owns assets to store, transport and tranship raw materials and finished products. These assets include the Baltic Bulker Terminal in St. Petersburg and a fleet of railway wagons.

Established in 2007, Uralchem JSC is one of the world’s largest producers and exporters of nitrogen, complex and phosphate fertilisers. The Company’s production assets are located in Russia’s Kaliningrad Region (GEO NPK LLC), Kirov Region (KCKK branch), Moscow Region (VMF branch) and Perm Region (Azot branch and PMF branch).

Uralchem JSC, together with Uralkali PJSC and TOAZ PJSC, is part of Uralchem Group – a leading producer of mineral fertilisers in Russia.

In total, Uralchem JSC has 10,000 employees.

The product range of the company is based on the latest agrichemical research and was designed to match customer needs for efficient application in the agricultural, chemical, mining, metals, construction and other sectors.

Rosseti Group is one of the world's largest power grid holdings and a supplier of electricity to consumers in 78 regions of Russia. Rosseti operates 2.45 mn km of power transmission lines and electrical substations with a total capacity of 826,000 MVA. The grids of Rosseti Group transmit over 77% of all electrical power generated in the country.

The Group has 43 subsidiaries, including 16 distribution network companies. Rosseti headcount is about 230,000 people.

The controlling shareholder of the parent company, Rosseti PJSC, is the Government represented by the Federal Agency for State Property Management.

LUKOIL is one of the largest international private vertically-integrated energy companies, accounting for over 2% of global oil production and about 1% of proved hydrocarbon reserves. 

With exploration, production and marketing of oil, gas, petroleum and petrochemical products being LUKOIL Group’s core businesses, the company plays a key role on Russia’s fuel and energy market. One of the largest taxpayers in this country, LUKOIL produces 15% and refines about 17% of oil in Russia.  

Operating in six federal districts (64 regions) of the Russian Federation and over thirty countries worldwide, LUKOIL provides jobs for more than 105 thousand employees.

Since its foundation, LUKOIL has been conducting its business in a sustainable way, seeking to strike a balance between environmental sustainability and social and economic development.

NOVATEK is Russia’s largest independent natural gas producer. Founded in 1994, the Company is engaged in exploration, production, processing and marketing of natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons.

The Company is in the top three in terms of proven reserves and top five in terms of gas production among major public companies globally. The Company’s reserve to production ratio (SEC) as of the end of 2022 is 28 years.

Developing competitive natural gas liquefaction facilities is the Company's key strategic focus.

Yamal LNG, the Company's largest LNG project, is located on the Yamal Peninsula. It is an integrated project for production, liquefaction and export of natural gas. In 2019, an integrated facility for LNG production and transshipment commenced its operation in the port of Vysotsk, Leningrad Region.

For its future LNG projects, the Company built an Offshore Superfacility Construction Center in Murmansk Region, which has a vital role to play for the LNG equipment manufacturing industry emerging in Russia. The Center is currently busy with fabricating the first two GBS LNG Trains for the Arctic LNG 2 project. The Arctic LNG 2 project's three trains are expected to commence operation in 2023, 2024 and 2026, respectively.

The Company engages hundreds of Russian companies to develop its projects. Some of the solutions are tailor-made for the Company's projects, making them truly unique.

Sberbank is Russia’s largest bank and a leading global financial institution. Holding almost one-third of aggregate Russian banking sector assets, Sberbank is the key lender to the national economy and one of the biggest deposit takers in Russia. The Government of the Russian Federation represented by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation is the principal shareholder of Sberbank owning 50% plus one voting share of the bank’s authorized capital, with the remaining 50% minus one voting share held by domestic and international investors. The bank has a major distribution network in Russia with about 14,000 branches. It holds general banking license No. 1481 dd. August 11, 2015, from the Bank of Russia.

PhosAgro Group is among the global leaders in the production of phosphate-based mineral fertilizers and high-grade phosphate rock. 

Free of concentrations of cadmium and other toxic substances that are hazardous to human health and soils, PhosAgro’s high-performance fertilizers are used to grow environmentally friendly crops in some 100 countries around the world. 

The Company’s strategic priority is the Russian market, where for many years it has been a leader in the supply of all types of fertilizers and has acted as a guarantor of national food security. 

In 2022, the Company ramped up its support for social and charitable projects by nearly 150%, to a record RUB 12.9 billion. In addition, PhosAgro’s tax payments increased by 50%, to over RUB 59 billion.

Over the next five years, PhosAgro plans to invest more than RUB 250 billion, including nearly RUB 67 billion in 2023, an increase of 6% over last year’s record capex.

Russian Helicopters is a leading player in the global helicopter industry, the sole Russian rotorcraft designer and manufacturer and one of the few companies worldwide with the capability to design, manufacture, service and test modern civilian and military helicopters. Russian Helicopters is part of State Corporation Rostec.

Russian Helicopters’ facilities span the entire country. The Company includes design bureaus, helicopter assembly plants, components production, maintenance and repair enterprises, aircraft repair plants, and helicopter service companies providing after-sales support in Russia and abroad. Russian Helicopters is headquartered in Moscow.

ROSOBORONEXPORT is Russia’s sole state agency for export of the full range of defense-related and dual-use products, services and technologies.

Rosoboronexport accounts for over 85% of Russia’s exports of arms and military equipment.

Rosoboronexport cooperates with more than 700 Russian defense industrial enterprises and organizations.

The geographical scope of Russia’s military-technical cooperation encompasses more than 100 countries.

Rostec is the largest State Corporation covering up to 800 industrial, scientific and manufacturing organisations in 60 regions of Russia.

The key operational areas are aircraft engineering, radio electronics, medical technologies, innovative materials, etc.

The Corporation is the supplier to more than 100 countries of the world, with almost one third of the revenue driven by its high-tech products’ export.

UMMC – one of the top Russian producers of major commodities including copper, zinc, coal, gold and silver. The Seaport & Railway projects Department UMMC provides project development, technical and technological port capacity modernization control. It operates the largest specialized coal seaports: JSC Rosterminalugol in the Leningrad region and JSC Vostochny Port in the Primorsky region. Both projects provide coal transshipment of various Russian producers. The overload capacity of Vostochny Port is 58 mln tones and JSC Rosterminalugol - 27 mln tones. The coal overload processes of both terminals are accompanied by the set of the top available latest technologies intended to minimize environmental impact. The terminals are fitted with the best modern equipment both unique and from the leading world known manufacturers.

A Russian cybersecurity company focused on threat detection, prevention and response technologies under the brand name Dr.Web. The company’s founding was based on the efforts of a team of developers who have been working on Dr.Web products since 1992. It is one of the key players on the market. Doctor Web meets the basic need of both businesses and government agencies, as well as home users—the need for information security. Dr.Web solutions make it possible to counter cyberattacks and to detect and neutralise infections and potential threats and eliminate their consequences.

تجسد قمة روسيا-أفريقيا التي تعقد بمدينة سوتشى يوم 24 أكتوبر 2019، روابط الصداقة التاريخية بين دول القارة الأفريقية وجمهورية روسيا الاتحادية. وتكتسب هذه القمة أهمية كبيرة كونها الأولى من نوعها في توقيت يشهد تحولات عالمية ودولية كبرى ، حيث تهدف هذه القمة الى تدشين إطار متكامل لدفع العلاقات الروسية / الأفريقية إلى آفاق أوسع للتعاون المشترك في مختلف المجالات استجابة لتطلعات الشعوب .

تنطلق الدول الأفريقية وروسيا من أرضية مشتركة في العمل الدولى ، ترتكز على مبادئ احترام قواعد القانون الدولى ، والمساواة ، وعدم التدخل في الشئون الداخلية للدول ، وحل النزاعات بالطرق السلمية ، وتأكيد الالتزام بالعمل متعدد الأطراف كما تأتى وفق رؤية متشابهة للجانبين لمواجهة التحديات الدولية الجديدة وعلى رأسها الإرهاب والتطرف بكل أشكاله ، والتراجع في معدلات النمو ، الى جانب قناعة راسخة لدى الجانبين بأهمية العمل على تعزيز التبادل التجارى ، ودعم الاستثمارات المتبادلة ، بما يحقق الأمن والسلام والتنمية للشعوب في القارة الأفريقية وروسيا .

تتمتع الدول الافريقية بإمكانات وقدرات هائلة تؤهلها حال توظيفها على الوجه الأمثل لتكون في مصاف القوى الاقتصادية الصاعدة . فقد حققت دول القارة نجاحات كبيرة خلال السنوات الماضية على كافة الأصعدة السياسية والاقتصادية ، والاجتماعية ، وقضايا الحوكمة. وقد نجحت أفريقيا في تحقيق معدلات نمو متزايدة على مدار العقد الماضى وصلت الى حوالى 3،55 في عام 2018.

واتصالاً بالجهود التي تبذلها الدول الأفريقية ، فقد شهدت قمة الاتحاد الأفريقي بالنيجر في يوليو 2019 دخول اتفاقية التجارة الحرة القارية الأفريقية حيز النفاذ ، وكذلك إطلاق أدواتها التنفيذية ، وتعتبر هذه الاتفاقية أحد الأهداف الأساسية بأجندة التنمية الأفريقية 2063، والتي تهدف الى دفع جهود الاندماج الإقليمى والتكامل الاقتصادى الأفريقي ، بما يسهم في تلبية تطلعات الشعوب الأفريقية في تحقيق الرخاء والعيش الكريم .

تفتح هذه النجاحات آفاق واسعة للتعاون بين الدول الأفريقية وجمهورية روسيا الاتحادية، كما تؤكد على عزم الحكومات الأفريقية وشعوبها على التعاون مع مختلف الشركاء بهدف تحقيق المكاسب والمنفعة المشتركة.

وفى هذا الإطار، فإننا نتطلع إلى أن تسهم قمة أفريقيا / روسيا في بدء علاقة استراتيجية بناءة ترتكز على التعاون بين الجانبين في مختلف المجالات بما يسهم في تحقيق آمال وتطلعات الشعوب الأفريقية والشعب الروسي الصديق.
