Venue for signing ceremonies and press conferences

With its modern, developed infrastructure, the Second Summit, Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum press centre can organize turnkey press events at the highest level.

To facilitate the hosting of signing ceremonies and press conferences, the press centre has a number of individual halls designed in the Second Summit, Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum style and equipped with the necessary sound and video equipment, as well as other technical capabilities to ensure the effective work of media representatives at the event. Furthermore, one of the halls at the Second Summit, Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum site have been further equipped to organize remote online ceremonies in the case that one of the signing parties cannot be present in person.

Protocol and organizational support for signing ceremonies and press conferences at the press centre is handled by IQ Protocol, an official contractor of the Roscongress Foundation operating at the Second Summit, Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum, Russian Investment Forum, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and the Eastern Economic Forum. IQ Protocol’s staff have vast experience in managing various kinds of events. The company has successfully handled more than 900 signing ceremonies at the highest level.

Signing ceremony point

The signing ceremony point is another excellent option provided by the Roscongress Foundation for signing ceremonies at the Second Summit, Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum.

This option offers several advantages:

  1. Up to three signings can be held within one 15-minute slot.
  2. A convenient location – there is no need to go to the press centre to sign an agreement as the signing ceremony point is located directly in the passage, in the aria of pavilion G.
  3. The point is easily accessible to media representatives and is in plain view, so signings will attract the attention of journalists, photographers, and Second Summit, Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum participants.
  4. Within the slot, the customer receives the full package of protocol support for the signing ceremony with the provision of folders for signing, and pens with the Second Summit, Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum logo. The ceremony is supported by professional assistants and a moderator. The point is fully furnished, includes sound equipment, and is designed with Second Summit, Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum branding.
  5. Due to the high demand for the service, it is recommended to make an application and book the ceremony in advance

The company provides comprehensive protocol and organizational support for press conferences while maximizing convenience for Second Summit, Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum participants.

The forms have been compiled in a convenient and easy-to-understand format and allow us to collect the information required to start preparing for the event and to establish regular contact with the client.

  • Applications are being accepted until 21 July 2023.

On receiving your application, we will contact you to clarify any information and discuss organizational matters.

If a single client is holding multiple consecutive signings, separate applications must be completed for each agreement being signed and sent to the email address provided above.


Please note that an application for protocol and organizational support for events at the press centre of the Second Summit, Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum will only be accepted if an application has been submitted to reserve halls at the press centre.

Для России государства Африки всегда были и остаются важными и надежными партнёрами. Нас объединяет стремление к построению справедливого многополярного миропорядка, основывающегося на подлинном равенстве и верховенстве международного права, свободного от любых форм дискриминации, силового диктата и санкционного давления.

Состоявшийся в 2019 году первый в истории саммит Россия – Африка создал хорошие условия для активизации наших традиционно дружественных связей как на двустороннем уровне, так и на многосторонней основе. Уверен, что вторая встреча на высшем уровне в таком формате, которая пройдёт в июле в Санкт-Петербурге, позволит определить новые задачи по расширению взаимодействия Российской Федерации с африканскими партнёрами на самых различных направлениях, в том числе в решении актуальных вопросов региональной и международной повестки дня.

Саммит Россия – Африка, который пройдет в Сочи 23–24 октября 2019 года, олицетворяет исторические дружеские связи между Африканским континентом и Российской Федерацией. Данный Саммит имеет большое значение, поскольку он является первым в своем роде в период крупных глобальных и международных преобразований и в ответ на чаяния народов направлен на создание комплексных рамок для продвижения российско-африканских отношений к более широким горизонтам совместного сотрудничества в различных областях.

Африканские страны и Россия исходят из общих позиций в международных действиях, основанных на принципах уважения норм международного права, равенства, невмешательства во внутренние дела государств, мирного разрешения споров и подтверждения приверженности многосторонних действий в соответствии с аналогичным видением двух сторон противостоянию новым международным вызовам. Терроризм и экстремизм во всех его формах, снижение темпов роста и твердое убеждение обеих сторон в важности развития торгового обмена и поддержки взаимных инвестиций таким образом, чтобы обеспечить безопасность, мир и развитие для народов Африканского континента и России.

Африканские страны обладают огромным потенциалом и возможностями, которые позволят им после оптимизации войти в число развивающихся экономических держав. За последние годы страны континента достигли больших успехов по всем политическим, экономическим, социальным и управленческим вопросам. За последнее десятилетие Африка преуспела в темпах роста, достигнув уровня в 3,55% в 2018 году.

В продолжение усилий африканских стран на саммите Африканского союза в Нигере в июле 2019 года было отмечено вступление в силу Африканского континентального соглашения о свободной торговле, включая запуск его инструментов. Данное соглашение является одной из главных целей стратегии развития Африки до 2063 года и призвано способствовать удовлетворению надежд африканского народа на процветание и достойную жизнь.

Эти успехи открывают широкие перспективы сотрудничества между африканскими странами и Российской Федерацией и подтверждают решимость правительств африканских стран и их народов к сотрудничеству с разными партнерами в целях установления взаимовыгодных отношений.

The Russia–Africa Summit, which is taking place in Sochi on 23–24 October 2019, encapsulates the historically friendly relations between the African continent and the Russian Federation. This Summit carries great significance as it is the first of its kind to emerge during a period of major global and international transformations. In response to the aspirations of the people it is representing, the Summit intends to build a comprehensive framework for expanding Russian–African relations into broader horizons of joint cooperation across different fields.

The African nations and Russia share a common understanding of international relations, based on the principles of respect for the rule of international law, equality, non-interference in the internal affairs of states, and the peaceful resolution of disputes. Both sides affirm their commitment to support multilateral actions to oppose new international threats, be they terrorism and extremism in all their forms, or declining growth rates. The two sides share a firm conviction regarding the importance of developing trade flows and supporting mutual investment in such a way as to ensure security, peace and development for the African and Russian people.

African countries have huge potential and opportunities that will allow them, once efforts to streamline their economies have been achieved, to emerge as real global players. In recent years, the nations of this continent have achieved major successes spanning the political, economic, social and administrative spheres. Africa has flourished in terms of growth over the past decade, reaching a continent-wide growth rate of 3.55% in 2018.

The African Union Summit, which was held in Niger in July 2019, continued the efforts of the African countries and saw the African Continental Free Trade Agreement come into force, along with its operational instruments. The agreement is one of the key objectives of Agenda 2063, an African development strategy that has been created to address the African people’s desire for prosperity and decent living standards.

These successes are opening up wide-ranging prospects for cooperation between African countries and the Russian Federation, and confirm the determination of African governments and their people to cooperate with multiple partners in order to establish mutually beneficial relations.

With this in mind, we express our hopes that the Russia–Africa Summit will help in the establishment of constructive strategic relations, based on partnership between two sides across various fields, and in the service of fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of the African people and their friends in Russia.
