History Museum of the Resort City of Sochi
Over the course of its century-long history since 1920, the History Museum of the Resort City of Sochi has transformed from a small collection of the Sochi branch of the Caucasus Mountain Club to one of the largest museum associations in the region, with a collection of 100,000 items. The museum’s exhibition includes 14 halls and depicts the history of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus and the city of Sochi from ancient times until present with 6,000 unique exhibits, including archaeological artefacts, objects of the ethnography, life, and culture of the region’s multinational population, as well as other unique objects, documents, and photographic materials. The museum’s substantial collection reveals the eventful history of the resort city and lets visitors look at the city from unexpected angles. The museum’s exhibition halls regularly host thematic exhibitions related to the history of Sochi.

Phanagoria State Historical and Archaeological Museum and Reserve
Congress participants can attend the tour ‘Ancient Phanagoria: Myths about Archaeology and Science’. During the tour, Congress participants will have a chance to take an exciting journey through the world of Ancient Greece and touch the artifacts of a civilization that existed 2,500 years ago on what is now Taman Peninsula.
Participants can purchase tickets on their own at a reduced price by presenting their badge.

Zhilinsky Sochi Art Museum
The Sochi Art Museum was founded by a decree of the RSFSR Ministry of Culture on 24 June 1971. The building was designed by the prominent architect Ivan Zholtovsky, and the museum has been granted the status of an architectural monument of federal importance. The exhibition presents works that represent a variety of trends in Russian fine art from the 19th–21st centuries (classicism, romanticism, realism, and socialist realism, which emerged in the first half of the 20th century). The works of academic school artists are widely and thoroughly represented, including works by Ivan Aivazovsky, Vasily Polenov, Nikolay Sverchkov, Vladimir Zarubin, and Lev Lagorio. An independent part of the exposition is the Decorative and Applied Arts exhibition, which includes around a hundred works of porcelain, majolica, as well as Russian lacquer miniatures from the museum’s collection.

You can also see Sochi Park in the cartoon series ‘Portal to a Fairy Tale’, where stories and reality come together. The park’s favourite mascots Baba Yaga, Koschei, and others are the stars, and all of their adventures take place in theme lands!
Sochi Park is the best amusement park in Russia (Crystal Wheel Award). All entertainment is included in the entrance ticket.
