The “Avangard” Training and Methodological Center for Military and Patriotic Education of Youth was established by the Governments of Moscow City and the Moscow Region with the support of the Ministry of Defenсe of the Russian Federation. The idea of its creation was supported by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.
The center is designed for simultaneous education and round-the-clock accommodation of 900 schoolchildren and 1800 college graduate students from Moscow and the Moscow region. Military training for each category of students lasts 5 days, during which high school students and students of general educational organizations study 6 military specialties under the guidance of 110 professional instructors, teachers and counselors. The center receives over 80,000 cadets per year.

St. Petersburg Tractor Plant will showcase three premium-class mass-produced Kirovets from its newest product range: The K-742M and K-525 tractors, and the K-708 UDM which combines the functions of a loader and bulldozer.
The K-7M range includes four 300 to 420 hp agricultural tractor models (6 to 8 drawbar category).
The 250 hp KIROVETS K-525 is a multi-use farm tractor ideal for farms with arable land from 500 ha to 2,000 ha.
The K-525 can also be used by large land users and agricultural holdings, primarily for:
- the frequent transport of machinery to remote fields on public roads.
- work on shallow fields.
The KIROVETS K-708 UDM loader is designed for a wide range of road construction work in climatic conditions close to extreme.
General information about the university will be available at the Adyghe State University presentation area, as well as information on its educational programmes and innovative projects (Mathematics: A New Perspective, Apple Valley IT-project, Adygea – the Region of Health, Plant Genetics, Experimental Linguistics), which are being implemented under the Priority 2030 programme and the programme of Caucasian Mathematical Centre of the Adyghe State University with the involvement of schoolchildren and students from 16 countries.
Established on 29th December 2021, the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa of the Russian Orthodox Church is now present in 54 countries on the continent.
As a follow-up to a meeting between the Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, Metropolitan Leonid of Klin, and the President of Uganda, Mr Yoweri Museveni, in May 2022, an agreement was reached with the direct assistance of the Autonomous Noncommercial Organization “East African Continental Council” (ANO EACC) on providing a plot of land in Kampala to the Russian Church with the view of building there a religious and educational centre. The complex will include an Orthodox church, a building of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture, a hospital, a college, an apartment hotel and an office centre. The East African Continental Council provides full support in designing and developing the complex.
During the Summit, the heads of the Exarchate and the ANO EACC are planning to sign an agreement on partnership and cooperation.
The Autonomous Noncommercial Organization “East African Continental Council” was set up to develop religious, cultural and business relations between the Russian Federation and African countries.
The Tver Region’s stand will focus on the Region’s investment, tourism and export potential. Guests will be introduced to the Region’s rich history and tourism potential.
The stand, designed as a Tver Teahouse featuring a traditional regional tea party, will offer Forum guests traditional, locally made beverages and refreshments, and new brands.
The stand’s concept is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the composer, pianist and conductor Sergey Rachmaninoff, who lived and worked for a long time on his family’s estate Ivanovka in the Tambov Region. Since Rachmaninoff is a world-famous figure, the stand’s leitmotif is to present and promote the Tambov Region’s educational, cultural and tourism potential.
Since the Region has considerable AIC export potential and is interested in developing foreign trade cooperation with African states, the stand will smoothly integrate information on the Region’s socioeconomic potential.
The stand will hold official events, such as business meetings, agreement signings and talks.
The stand will feature information about the University in promotional booklets, materials and R&D project catalogues. Additionally, it will carry the logo, souvenirs and promotional materials of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Russian-African Network University of which the Polytech is coordinator.
The stand will serve as a venue for several business programme events, including working meetings and talks between the Polytech’s Rector Andrey Rudskoy, guests of and participants in the Russia—Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum, among them heads of state.

A separate section will present the Region’s tourist potential: historical estates and monuments, springs and cliffs, dense forests, chalk mountains, fast-flowing rivers and waterfalls.
The Forum’s guests and participants may visit our stand to learn about business support measures and potential investment sites, to consult with relevant professionals and taste world-class foods from local manufacturers.
The Samara Region’s stand will present innovative products and educational opportunities offered by Samara universities to applicants from Africa.
The stand will feature innovative tech designs from the Region’s higher educational institutions and industrial enterprises, including exhibits from Samara State Medical University:
- a VR station, a telehealth suitcase and an AUTOPLAN surgical navigation system;
- models of innovative agricultural equipment from Pegasus Agro;
- a model of the TM Samara Belokamenka substation of Electroshield SC JSC;
- exhibits from Progress RSC JSC: a model of the Amur carrier rocket (on a 1:20 scale), a model of the 1B stage Soyuz-2 carrier rocket (on a 1:20 scale), and a model of the Soyuz-5 carrier rocket (on a 1:20 scale);
- the Metacampus project by Engineering of the Future research and education centre.
The stand will feature regional products currently exported or to be exported to African countries.

The stand visualizes Rosfinmonitoring’s efforts to counteract shadow financial flows and to involve the younger generation in the World Financial Security Olympiad.
The stand will show video clips and offer printed material such as booklets and the agency’s magazine.
The Rostov Region stand is a point for meetings and business contacts with the Region’s African partners in economic, scientific, educational and humanitarian cooperation. Visitors to the talk point will see a video presentation of the Region’s commercial, economic, investment, agricultural and tourist potential. Several documents on cooperation between the Region’s universities and business associations, and their African partners are also slated for the Summit.
The Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervisory Service (Rosselkhoznadzor) is Russia’s federal executive authority engaged in supervising and monitoring veterinary, quarantine and plant protection, in ensuring soil fertility, the quality and safety of grain, cereals, combined animal feeds and components for their manufacturing, byproducts of grain processing. The Agency’s functions also include protecting the public against zoonotic diseases.
Rosselkhoznadzor has the following subordinate institutions: Federal Centre for Animal Health; All-Russia State Centre for Quality and Standardization of Animal Medications and Feeds; All-Russia Centre for Plant Quarantine; Republican Fumigation Group Federal State Enterprise; National Centre for Fishing and Aquaculture Product Safety FSBI, Federal Centre for Assessing Safety and Quality of Grain and Grain Products FSBI.
The stand will hold educational events featuring famous speakers, whose talks will be broadcast on the Russian society “Znanie” resources.
Additionally, the Society will present podcasts on cooperation and on famous Africans in Russia and/or on Russians of African origin.
As part of its collective exhibition, the exposition of the Republic of Tatarstan will present the first largest international forum “Russia—China: Mutually Advantageous Cooperation”, which will be held on 7–8 September 2023 in Tatarstan’s capital Kazan.
The exhibition will also include a presentation of Games of the Future, an international tournament in 16 innovative tech disciplines supporting the phygital concept, i.e., combining classical sports, cybersports and technologies. To make the new competition format more immersive and to present the main events of the Games, special Air Hockey with robotic equipment will be installed in the interactive presentation zone. The Universal Robots UR10 robotic manipulator uses sensors to design a game strategy in response to the moves made by the air hockey player, thus promoting immersion in the phygital format (cybersport + sport).
The exhibition will also feature KAMAZ vehicles: a KAMAZ-54901 flagship rig, a city bus, and a KAMAZ-43118 stake-bed 6?6 wheeler that delivers humanitarian cargo to African countries; a Mi-8MTv-1 model — Mi-8 family multi-purpose helicopter. Its excellent performance data, multiple uses and efficiency have made it the world’s most popular helicopter.
The exhibition stand of the Russian Geographic Society (the RGO) is dedicated to the RGO’s activities in Africa, particularly to Nikolay Vavilov’s expedition to Ethiopia (1927), Ivan Sokolov’s expedition to Kenya (1914), and Alexander Chikin’s journey from Mombasa to Kilimanjaro (1888).
The exhibition will feature artifacts from these expeditions, such as Sokolov and Chikin’s diaries, lantern slides from Vavilov’s expeditions and other items from RGO collections.
A film called “Russia, A Virtual Journey”, including VR technologies, will be screened to present the RGO’s current activities.
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation develops state policy and legal regulations in relation to agriculture and the AIC. Agroexport FSBI subordinated to the Ministry of Agriculture develops and promotes Russian food exports, researches prospective markets and provides advisory support to agricultural product exporters.
The stand will bring together leaders on the Russian AIC market from the key agricultural sectors and they will present the most promising products for African states.
The Summit business programme features a panel discussion “Effective AIC cooperation strategy” for public officials, representatives of financial institutions and business communities. The panel will focus on strategic vectors for developing Russia—Africa trade partnership, investment cooperation, financial support for transactions, logistics and delivery insurance.
The Forum will feature the following presentations: “Engineering Training for Africa: St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University’s Project supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation”. In 2022, 698 citizens of 20 African states participated in the project.
The Forum will also feature a presentation of the “Russian Week of Maths, Physics and Computer Science” project constituting part of the Russian Federation’s “Education Development” state project.
Events to be held include an open dialogue called “Women in STEM” held at St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University with support from the “Association of Women in the Nuclear Sector” foundation for supporting and promoting women’s initiatives. The dialogue will focus on: “The role of women in major historic discoveries and today’s trends for the growing popularity of STEM among women” and “Women leaders in high-tech sectors.”

The Volgograd Region is a region in Russia in the south-east of the East European Plain, and a constituent entity of the Russian Federation.
Its administrative centre is the Hero City of Volgograd. The Volgograd Region borders the Saratov, Rostov, Astrakhan and Voronezh Regions, the Republic of Kalmykia and Kazakhstan (West Kazakhstan Region). It is part of the Russian Federation’s Southern Federal District.
The Volgograd Region is one of Russia’s most economically developed regions and has a balanced economic structure. Its diversified agriculture is coupled with a wide range of different industries, and oil and gas reserves. Two of Russia’s largest navigable rivers flow through the region, connected by the Volga–Don Canal. The Volga Hydroelectric Station is also situated in the region.
The Volgograd Region has an advantageous geographical position as the main gateway to the south of Russia, with access to Iran, the Caucasus and Kazakhstan, and in the opposite direction to Central Russia and the Volga Region. Two of the most important rivers in European Russia, the Volga and the Don, also connect in the region through the Volga–Don Canal, which provides access to the Caspian Sea, the White Sea, the Baltic Sea, the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
The Astrakhan Region is located in the Caspian Sea Region at the crossroads of the “North—South” and “West—East” international transport corridors. Today, the Caspian Sea Region is gaining a strategic geopolitical role in both the Russian Federation and throughout Eurasia. The Astrakhan Region has a key role here as the shortest route for the “North—South” international transport corridor to India and Southeast Asia. Acting on instructions from Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, the Astrakhan Region has established a special economic port zone intended to become Russia’s port hub on the “North—South” ITC. This hub will provide access to the markets of both Asian and African countries. Consequently, the Astrakhan Region’s stand will emphasize development of new logistics routes and bolstering trade and economic relations with the countries of the Caspian Sea Region and with their neighbouring states, India, Southeast Asian states, and Africa, the potential to implement joint projects, including those in the port SEZ and industrial SEZ in the Astrakhan Region (both SEZ are combined as the Caspian cluster).
