Roscongress Foundation, Synergy Corporation set to unveil a joint global platform to improve ties between Russia and MENA region
MOSCOW, July 27 - Dubai will host The World of Opportunities international business forum on November 16-18, 2023, organised by Roscongress Foundation and Synergy Corporation. The event will consolidate strategic partnership between the two countries to follow up on the outcomes of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum in June 2023, and will also contribute to better bilateral economic relations between the UAE and Russia.
In 2022, trade between Russia and the UAE grew by 68% to $9bn, while Russia's trade with African countries reached almost $18bn. At the same time, over the past five years, Russia's trade with countries in the MENA region increased by 83% to $94.9bn.
The World of Opportunities will bring together 1,000 offline and 10,000+ online participants from more than 45 countries. The forum will be held for the second time and is expected to become an annual event, a platform for open dialogue between top executives, regulators and key players in the financial sector to satisfy growing interest by Russian businesses in the region. The forum will focus on energy, innovation, creative economy, transport, education, IT, trade and export.
The event will be attended by the federal ministers of the Russian Federation, heads of major Russian banks, corporations, IT firms, energy giants, regional governors, and leading market experts. The panelists will explore ways to enhance international relations and exchange experience between Russia and MENA countries, unlock new opportunities for businesses to expand and capture new markets, building on shared capacity and expertise by Middle Eastern and Russian companies.

1,000+ experts and business leaders will attend the three-day event to enjoy a variety of networking options, including panel sessions, exhibition, round tables, and open discussions.
An impressive cultural agenda has been designed for the participants, featuring performances by Russian and world stars of classical music. It will host the 2nd Dresden Opera Ball with A-listers such as soprano Aida Garifullina, the Janoska Ensemble from Vienna, soloists from the Bolshoi Theatre, jazz legend Igor Butman, ballet dancer Denis Rodkin, and the Northern Synfonia Orchestra led by famous conductor Fabio Mastrangelo.
